Money Well Spent

So I am so incredibly excited about our most recent purchase. Now it may be for a few reasons: including reminding me of home, or that it didn't include a trip to Ikea, or maybe that it gets me a daily dose of Vitamin D that just gets that Seratonin flowing.... in any event, I walked out of the store today with a huge smile on my face and a shopping cart filled with patio furniture!

We have been saying for weeks we will get a BBQ, so that I can be American in Spain and have that wonderfully grilled taste on my fish and vegetables, and we decided today would be the day!

So we picked up our Grill for 16 euros, and decided patio furniture was a necessary accompaniment to a BBQ. We found some furniture on sale in colorful metal material... but we could only choose between red or orange, and frankly, neither of us were to thrilled... but alas, we saw a hint of purple at the end of the aisle!

As we saw our new purple prospect, I saw slightly to the right, some nice classy wooden furniture! There were two chairs, and a 1 remaining table. We sat on the chairs.. more comfortable... we pulled out the table and took in the sensation inside carrefour, while imagining ourselves in this exact position on our small terrace.... "it's been waiting here for us!. I knew it was the one. We couldn't let this last set alone in the store one more minute! So I guarded it with my life while Esteban went looking for a shopping cart!

Independizarse

Lots of time has passed, lots has happened, and I realize I may have some fans looking for more blogs... 


 For starters, I now have my own apartment, I no longer live at my job! I liked it there, but I like my independence more. No Problem, I'm going to continue to work for the family mondays through thursdays, the only difference is that I get to go to my own home and cook in my own kitchen again!  =)



Second, Esteban has also become more independent... actually, we' have done it together and are now living together! We have a cute little casita not too far from my jobs.
